This is a bright cheery new location just down Roswell road from the original Sandy Springs location, a real dump. I've been going to the old one for many years, but its a blessing that they moved. The pizza has their trademark whole wheat flour with quality cheese sauce and all of the standard toppings. I usually order one of the huge salads when I'm there for lunch.

I enjoy Mellow Mushroom's new (ok, new-ish at this point) location on Roswell Road. The service is a lot speedier and friendlier than what I experienced at the old spot. The food is on par with every other MM I've visited in Atlanta. My favorite pizzas are the Kosmic Karma and Magical Mystery Tour. They have a good selection of beer, both on tap and bottled.

I generally think Mellow Mushroom has pretty greasy pizza and that most of the locations have many layers of old grease piled on top of the eclectic and dingy decor but this Mellow Mushroom is all nice and shiny and new-looking. It's really big and bright and there were lots of kids piled in there on a Saturday night. I can definitely see its appeal for the kid-set. We were in a bit of a rush because we were running a bit behind for our show at The Punchline. We ended up at Mellow Mushroom because it's right by the club and it seemed like a good, quick option. I had a Greek salad with added chicken (no greasy pizza for me) and my friend had a Greek salad and half sandwich. The sandwich was huge and apparently tasty. My Greek salad was also very good and I became a member of their "Clean Plate Club". Our service was excellent - very friendly, fast and efficient. This turned out to be an ideal choice for a pre-show meal. I would probably give three stars if I'd had the pizza but I didn't so there you go.

I have to admit that I love a good Mellow Mushroom pizza. The Kosmic Karma just hits the spot, every single time, and their pretzels are magnificent. Unfortunately, this location is a little hit or miss. It's been renovated and is all schmancy (which my dingy heart of hearts does not like), but the service and the food could use some work. On my last trip in, I had ordered two pies for takeout for dinner with the fam. We arrived a little bit prior to the scheduled pick up time, so had no problem waiting a few minutes. However, we waited way too long, and the pizzas weren't ready until 15 minutes or so past the estimated time. No big deal, until when I got home we realized that the pizzas were seriously undercooked. The dough in the middle was chewy and unappetizing and I was really disappointed. I hope they step up their game and actually, you know, COOK the pizza next time around.

I really enjoy the pizza here. It's made from fresh ingredients and you can taste it. The history of Mellow Mushroom is always interesting to hear about and the beer selection is not bad either. If you are new to the area and looking for fresh delicious pizza in a cozy environment, stop on in to 'The Shroom' for something you'll truly enjoy.

Best. Tempeh. Ever. I adore the premium ingredient options at Mellow and having the ability to create my own giant salad. My favorite? Spinach topped with double grilled portabellas, avocado, and double tempeh, all tossed in THE BEST balsamic vinaigrette. Be still my vegetarian food loving heart! The Sandy Springs location is my favorite for its bright cheery atmosphere, friendly service, and overall cleanliness. Great patio too in warmer months. Thanks Mellow for making the non-pizza options shine just as much as the pizzas!

I always forget how much I love the esperanza dressing. Then I order my salad with it and end up asking for more in order to dip my pizza crust in it. We arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday, and our group of 3 adults and 2 toddlers was promptly seated at a table towards the back. The TVs are mounted up high, so if you're too close, you can only see about half the screen. Luckily we were in between two, so we could read the score by checking both. The wooden chairs did quite a bit of sliding on the tile floors... but that could've been the daredevil children in them... For the kids, we got a cheese pizza meal and a pepperoni pizza meal. They come with either apple slices & peanut butter or broccoli. That's pretty much a no-brainer... You can also get a pretzel as a kids meal, but we instead got a half order of the pretzels with salt and mustard for all of us to nibble on. The adults got draft beer, tossed salads with esperanza dressing ($4.99 for the regular, $2.99 for the lil), and a large Mad Italian (supposedly unique to this MM location, for $21.37) to share. The pizza was olive oil and garlic base with salami, ham, roasted red peppers, onions, and diced pepperocini. The pepperocini added a nice kick! Solid family pizza spot.

Went there with a girlfriend and her kid. They were slow and I would have expected decent service because of it. Wrong. The server was nice but not attentive. She spent more time talking to her co-workers than paying attention to her tables. 1. Silverware was dirty. Pizza spatula was sticky. 2. Soup came out cold. It hardly even melted the sour creme. And the adults got their food before the kids. THAT made it fun. "I'm huuuuunnngggrrryyy!!!" "Where's my food???" 3. We ordered a medium, we got a small. 4. There were four of us. The adults had soup and salad. They brought two pizza plates for the kids and I guess we were supposed to use our soup and salad plates for ours. 5. Stared at the server to get her attention. She didn't look up from her discussion for almost 3 minutes. I finally got up and got my own two plates and more napkins. The manager asked if he could help when I got them myself. You would think that would be his cue to make sure we got good service from that point on. He didn't pay us any attention at all. 6. First refill came at the same time as the check. The check took forever because she didn't even notice we were done eating and dealing with kids who were ready to go. 7. When one of the kids spilled her drink under the table, we asked for another and the server asked us if we wanted some RAGS to clean up the mess. What?!?!? 8. After declining dessert, the server still described the big choc chip cookie the carry. And of course, it was then a to-do to help the kid understand why she couldn't have a 6" cookie right before bed. Thanks a lot for that hissy fit, my friend. I hope they find this as a way to improve their operations.

I'm obsessed with the Gourmet White from Mellow Mushroom. In fact, that'd probably be my last supper if I had to have one. That being said, their Gourmet White at this location is not very good. I've tried it twice to make sure I didn't just have a bad experience once, but nope. At this location, they use far too much mozzarella. If you like mozzarella, that's great, but I find that too much mozzarella on the Gourmet White really ruins the pizza. The other pizzas at this location have been pretty tasty, though. When my sister's friend ordered a gluten-free pizza, she was impressed by the taste and the quality. They're also accommodating at providing for large groups, as I've come a few times with larger groups. The service is average. Nothing stunning but nothing particularly poor. Also, every time I've visited, it's be really dead, despite what looks like a bunch of cars outside in their parking lot. I'm not going to put down the pizza or service for being just average, but this isn't my favorite Mellow location. If you want a great Gourmet White, though, hit up the one on Monroe. SO GOOD.

Thumbs down! First time trying Mellow Mushroom, and wound up with two medium pizzas that taste like sponge, covered in cheese! $35 for tasteless, super doughy pizza?! I'd stick with Gallo's...at least there's flavor in their pies!

They always do fine, but we were just there for a quick drink. They had GF beer (which just caused me to bump them up to 4 stars).

Overrated, expensive, and extremely slow! We didn't even finish half the pizza or two of the pretzels between four of us. Not impressed!

I love the 'shroom. We hit this location late in the day on a Sunday - me and 2 kids. Brian (our server) was super nice and worked well with the kids who placed their own orders and don't always speak up or clearly. We got 3 small pizzas - one plain cheese, one with a substitution (brought out correctly) and one insanely crazy concoction (also brought out correctly). Brian applauded the 8 year-old's selection of toppings for his creation and even complimented him about how delicious it looked when it came out. However, our problem was the length of time we spent there and the absolute slowness of service. The pizzas took entirely too long to come out (but they were hot when they did) and then once they did, we never saw Brian again until I had to flag him down to get a box (but he did bring the check). He was nice and funny as he boxed up the left over pizza, however you shouldn't offer more soda to an 8 year old without checking with the grown up at the table (IMHO). So he offered my nephew more Sprite when the glass was still half-full. Argh. Luckily, Will did not drink the extra Sprite he was served. Overall the food was great, but the service was way too slow with two young ones at the table. I think the restaurant was empty enough, the staff was complacent and had no fire. The food saved them.

Despite the absolutely trippy, yet extremely amusing, artwork and decal all throughout the restaurant, their pizzas are absolutely delicious. I've had pizza from this place a couple times now, and I've never been disappointed. They also have a pretty decent beer selection from what I've seen, but I've never been there for anything besides the pizza really. With fresh ingredients and a different attitude, this place definitely deserves 5 stars in my book. Tasty goodness! Well worth the couple extra bucks over Pizza Hut.

I finally got a chance to check out Mellow Mushroom's new home on Roswell Road and after being greeted with "Welcome to Mellow Mushroom" (think Moe's) by two generic chicks, I didn't know whether to cry or run back to my car. Unfortunately with the move slightly further north on Roswell Road, Mellow Mushroom has been infected by the corporate take on what makes a happy dining experience. I miss the old location. At least it had character and apparently they cooked better pizza there. Toppings have become sparse and the once fabulous dough is thick and weird. In fact it was slightly burnt. Also the prices have gone up. The only improvement is the parking lot. I have not been back since. The new Mellow Mushroom is too blah and too "Twilight Zone" for me. UGH!!

On Saturday, we shared a salad, an order of hummus & pita bread, and a small pizza, which was plenty! The pita bread apparently uses the same dough as the pizza--excellent and substantial, and the hummus was fresh and tasty too. Our pizza was a half everything for my wife and half caesar salad pizza for me--pesto chicken, feta cheese, mozzarella, and I asked for the actual ceasar salad and dressing to be left off--great! Our server claimed to be new, though he said he has waited tables elsewhere, and he was attentive and also apologetic for some technical problems that delayed our check, but we were feeling mellow, so there wasn't anything to apologize for at all!

i have been going to this location for well over 20 years. the original store was just right up the street from the new local which is the bomb. the place looks great, feels great and the pizza most of all is yes, GREAT!!!! i live in Cali but hit it about once or twice a year and always start jonesin when i think about some badass meatball pies, jeez i'm hungry now. drop everything, run don't walk to get this always delicious pizza!!!!!

I might give this a 3.5 instead of a 3. I think I'll need to try this place again to decide. I ordered a hoagie, one with chicken, marinara, and cheese (though I forgot the name of it). It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I think I had just hoped for something with more kick, more seasoning/spice. Otherwise it was good, even though I could only finish half. A full one was way too much for one sitting. The service was good though, so no complaints there!

I'm a fan of MM. I have found the pizzas to be good and I also enjoy their sandwiches. So, I stopped by here one night to get one of my favorite sandwiches from them. It was my first time coming to this location since they moved from up the street. This place is larger and has that very cute mushroom decor that I really like. Anyway, I'm in love with the mushroom club, which is ham, turkey, mushroom, carmelized onions, and provolone. I really am crazy about this sandwich. I think the bean sprouts that they top it with just sets it off quite nicely. It is a warm sandwich and the bread is toasted. I find that the calzones are pretty good also. They have a good selection of ingredients with which you can build your own pizza or calzone. Don't sleep on the salads here either. Service is always decent when I visit MM and this visit was no different. Make sure you join the mellow e-club to get coupons and such. Go get you some.

I've always been a fan of MM so I didn't think twice about ordering...I'm new to Sandy Springs so I'm still learning the vibe of the area. Being a "Foodie", I usually pick out decent eating spots. Well, my first experience at this location was perfect! However, I can't say the same about my second visit. My order was plain'ol burnt! So I made it known to the manager and he was apologetic and readily made another order for me. Well, just as I feared, the remake was under cooked and missing a topping, so I went home and finished it on the stove idk what I'm doing wrong but hopefully my next experience will keep me coming back. If not, it's back to DaVinci's Pizza in Smyrna. I must say for the record, the atmosphere is awesome and the staff is friendly which is the only reason I'm going to give them one last try

Parking is a little limited. But that is the case for all the restaurants on this area of Roswell rd. it is hit or miss on the speed of service sometimes really fast and other times turtle speed. This is a very popular location regardless. Recommend the outdoor seating.

So now that I work in Sandy Springs, I'm getting used to the food options when I have a break between lunch and dinner shifts, before or after work, etc. Love that there's a WF en route directly from work and when I don't have much time on a break, it's cool that there are all kinds of restaurants, from sit-down to drive-thru close by. Today, I just HAD to leave the building. My first Sat lunch shift was not a whopping success on any front and with barely an hour before being back for dinner, all I could think was "PIZZA." Well, and "Feed Me, Seymour" kept running through my head. Note: I tried to be good and start with a salad but I ordered the wrong one - do not get the tossed salad. It is supposed to be romaine and iceberg, is basically all iceberg (which I hate) and the tomatoes were ick. Pay better attention than I did and get the field greens. At least my cheese pizza with extra cheese (duh) was tasty. And I can probably eat the leftovers en route home after working tonight. Oh, and NPWH. The manager tried to get me a different salad since he saw I wasn't eating mine and while I did not want one, that was a nice gesture.

Normally I love Mellow Mushroom, but this one has some of the worst service I've seen. I went there with my son. We waited at least 5 minutes after being seated before anyone greeted us. We ordered and the waitress forgot to bring our salad. Just very disappointing service. I remain a fan of MM but I'd rather drive a few extra miles than go back to this one.

Even though I'm from Chicago - I'm NOT a pizza snob - I recognize other types of pizza can be good as well (and I agree with people who call Chicago Deep dish more of a casserole than a pizza) - so, I really wanted to like Mello Mushroom, as it's just around the corner - so I waited to write this until I tried it 3 times, with 3 different pizzas. Sorry to say, it's average at best - blah, flavorless, and way too bready (my wife, who's a bread person, likes it, though). On a positive note - good wings, and the staff was great - casually professional - every person we encountered was great.

Love the pizzas and calzones, but my favorite dish is the Brutus Salad. Not every location makes it, but this is the dish for me with the chain. The Sandy Springs location staff is very friendly and tried to get you served promptly. Parking isn't the greatest as it is very tight in the parking lot and limited.

Ok, so my fav pizza joint has gone a bit corporate but this location, the Mothership , still has THE Best crust of any location. One undercooked pie in 40+ visits , always cold beer and good service.

Went here yesterday to watch the World Cup game. Great good and service. Only thing that could be better would be if they upgraded the tvs. This place would be instant 5 star if they had some big screens.

Mellow Mushroom is a pizza chain where the founders looked like they were smoking weed and did a lot of shrooms. But you could probably tell every time you walked into one. This location isn't any different. It is large, has a patio, and can be good for large groups. Mellow Mushroom started in Atlanta in the 70's. Now it just infected all of Atlanta with its trippy designs, friendly service, and decent food--depending on which franchise you go. They sell all sorts of pizzas and hoagies at Mellow Mushroom. I didn't get to try a pizza here, but I did try a hoagie. I got their avocado hoagie. Now, at certain locations, they rip you off with the avocados. But not this location. They hooked me up big time. I saw so much avocado, they were bursting out of the bun. That's the type of avocado hoagie I like. Also, the bread the hoagie came in tasted pretty good. All of their hoagies have a distinct taste to their buns. I'm thinking it's a simliar recipe their pizza crust is made from. I liked this location. The staff seemed nice and accomdating and their hoagie tasted good.

Super fresh ingredients! Fantastic and unique recipes and great crust. Yep! I said it...I'm a girl from the Mecca of pizza (Chicago) and mellow mushroom is good pizza! The house special or the Thai dye was our faves!

This Mellow Mushroom location is a little hard to get into since the traffic on Roswell Road / Sandy Springs is heavy most of the time. Anyway, the Gourmet White pizza that I ordered was delicious. I added pepperoni to it as well to give it a kick. Service was good as usual.

Mellow mushroom is consistently the best place to take kids. Great pizzas. And great salads.

Consistently the best pizza in town. Grabbing a cold pitcher and hot pie out on the patio is great way to unwind. They also have some nice beer specials. We usually enjoy a pepperoni pizza or a veggie with a hummus appetizer. You can't go wrong at Mellow Mushroom if your in the mood for pizza.

Mellow Mushroom serves the best pizza in Atlanta. The soft, doughy, delicious crust is what makes it the best. The tomato sauce and all of the toppings are also really good. You can't go wrong with a calzone either. This location also has a nice outdoor seating area if you're into that sort of thing. The service is friendly and efficient. I'm a huge fan.

Love this Mellow Mushroom--best one in Atlanta. Great high school kids working there--always a smile and quick service. My kids love the bacon and beef pizza while I crave the Enlightened Salad of spinach, feta, apples, craisins and spiced pecans. Why go anywhere else for pizza and salad?

Mellow Mushroom rocks! It has great pizza, good pizza, and a nice selection of beers for a pizza place. It really leaves a warm, fuzzy feeling. Or is that the beer consumption. Not to sure. My friend and I shared a Philospher's Pie. It has steak, portabello, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, and olive oil. It absolutely tasted fantastic and truly hit the spot after a good run in the park. Also, they offer a gluten free pizza, which is a nice little health option. It is true that the prices are more than a Dominoe's or Pizza Hut, but also the quality and service is well worth the price hike.

I like this Mellow Mushroom location for the fast take-out service, though the parking lot does get very full on trivial nights (Tuesday). The to-go orders are usually out very quickly and they have a separate register taking care of those orders so the check-out line is quick too. As far as food and drinks this location has all the classics you've come to love from Mellow Mushroom. The pizzas are good and their specials are fun and flavorful. The pizzas are always a hit for group gatherings.

Stopped in here around 9 pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was relatively quiet. There is a decent size bar and plenty of seating inside with bright color booths and murals abound in keeping with the MM theme. We sat on the patio which was nicely done with stacked stone, tropical foliage and gnomes scattered about. I ordered a field green salad to start. The spring mix was fresh and the tomatoes had great flavor. Yes, it was just a typical salad but I appreciate that all ingredients looked and tasted fresh. We ordered a standard pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it was served piping hot with lots of cheese. The crust was sturdy and cooked the way I like it. This pie was tasty enough to lure me to eat one, or two if I keep it real, slices too many. Let's just say I left fat and happy. Wes, was our server and he didn't miss a beat. From the beers, to our food order, to the check, we received prompt service. As an aside, if you like Red Stripe (which I do on occasion with lime), they have 16 oz cans for $3.

Oh Mellow Mushroom you do not know how happy I am to have tried you! Having several of your kick ass shirts- given as gifts from friends- I can now comment on your kick ass pizza. *now be forewarned- the pizza here does not have a large amount of sauce on it- so if you're a sauce person ask for extra - either on it or the side. Now with the warning out of the way let me move on to the deliciousness that was my pizza. Forgoing some of the crazier topping I decided for my first time I would stick with the basics- cheese/pepperoni/sausage- because if a place can't do that right- well they have problems. Mellow mushroom you did not disappoint! I'm a thin crust type of girl- and even your thicker crust couldn't diminish the food-orgasm I had in my mouth. The crust is so tasty- it's almost hard to describe. It's thicker(not deep dish either) but not heavy. It has a sweetness to it that just meshes with the sauce and topping. Not thinking of you as traditional pizza- I have to say the flavors were just so good. I'm glad that I found out we at least have one Mellow Mushroom around Denver. I can get my pizza and t- shirt fill when I want!

This is, by far, the best Mellow Mushroom in the Sandy Springs, Dunwoody area...and I can add Alpharetta too. Who ever makes the pizza here does the crust just right! It's soft and there's a lot of it around the edge! The bottom doesn't taste burnt and it just tastes fresh! My fave is the jerk chicken, no pineapples, pizza or just extra cheese.

Good pizza and salads. My favorite pie is the House Special. It has everything on it, but the kitchen sink. It goes great with the Greek salad. A small salad is plenty for two or three to share. The ingredients are always fresh. Expect to pay a little more b/c this isn't Pizzas Hut or Papa Johns quality, much better and worth the wait. Service can be slow at times, just depends on who is waiting on you and the parking can be tight to maneuver, even if you're driving a Mini.

The husband loves the crust options here (gluten-free I believe?). We've never eaten in, but the people behind the bar where you pick up your food are always really nice and accommodating with any extra things you might need for your meal. It's a cute atmosphere with the artsy psychedelic mushroom paintings and statues, etc. And the pizza toppings are pretty awesome. I love their new Bayou Bleu pizza (shrimp, kilbasa sausage, some sort of spicy bleu cheese sauce, and cheese). The Philosopher's Pie is also another genius flavor. Wings are super tasty too.

Came because of their nice outdoor patio, and cold Blue Moons. My wife's pizza was great and my hoagie was great, too. And their pretzels are really good, I have to say. Server was really attentive. And it's so close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's that you can make a nice night out of it.

Service was a bit slow but the food was up to par for a Mellow Mushroom. The patio seating is nice although the fans they have running out there are nothing short of useless on a hot day. Check em out on your next pizza night and try the pretzels!

Ok, went back today with a couple of friends, and i can say that the service has improved quite a bit, and the staff seem much more friendlier. Major win for me is that they had XM tuned into 80's on 8. They turned down the music from its blaring last time I was there, thank god, and the place looked much more organized and clean. We ordered a Mighty Meaty and a Buffalo Chicken, along with a couple of HUGE Caesar salads, and everything was prepared very well. Who can argue with a pizza that has full strips of bacon on it? I'm not sure if something changed with the crust or not, but it has more of a yeasty bite to it now, which I like. So many places just have bland crust with awesome toppings that just don't make up for it. We were in/out within an hour, which is acceptable, they weren't extremely busy when we arrived, and our server was passing our table every couple of minutes and kept a good eye on our drinks and kept them filled. And they now have Coke Zero, major plus for me also. And this time the sodas were spot on. (Maybe last time the machine was just jacked?) I did notice one major difference, they have since removed the napkin dispensers from the tables with their imprinted brown naps. Not sure if this was a cost cutting measure or not, but kinda irked me when i went to reach for one and realized it wasn't there. No big deal, server gladly brought a stack to the table in less than 30 seconds.

I really like Mellow Mushroom. The pizza crust is out of this world...I was told by a guy who worked there once that it was the maple syrup that they use to make the crust with! Anyway...it is always consistent and always hot! My boyfriend and I shared the cinnamon pretzels and a small Philosopher's Pie! The pretzels where sooooo yummy and sugary...but not too sweet and they give you honey to dip them in...heavenly!! The pizza was really good. Since I am not that big of a beef eater I did not know if I would like it that much but it was awesome. It sort of reminded me of a cheese steak but better. This place is probably one of my fav pizza spots just for the fact that the service is always prompt and the pizza is always consistent and hot! Hey what more can you ask for? Thanks Mellow Mushroom!

No service! On Tuesday, we went and and were rapidly seated in the center section. Our server came by and got our drink order, and that was the last we saw of him. We waited for at least 20 minutes for some kind of service, but nothing happened. Our server apparently was in training, and we observed other tables get service and food, but it also appeared that several wrong orders were served at those tables.

Everytime I visit ATL, I hit a mellow mushroom. Often times it's the location in midtown, but this trip found me lazier than normal (and towing a co-worker as well) so we hit this location, which is decidedly different than other in-town locations. Unlike locations inside the perimeter, this place almost feels like an imposter knock off version of what I know/feel the MM to be. It's too clean, too big, and too organized. but the menu and tap selection are consistent - and like a good copy cat, the meal was as satisfying as other locations. but much like going to a Irish Pub that got all of its gear from a :Irish city mileage and Guiness Signs R Us" catalog (rather than being, um, an Irish pub), I will leave this location for the suburbanites who wonder what those city folk like. Of course, they might not come here if the line isn't long at that "let's eat at a real Australian steakhouse" that is invariably within a mile of this joint.

My husband and I have been here several times and have taken out of town company here on occasion. We love to sit out on the patio and eat lunch when the weather is just right. Our favorite meal is to get a Casear salad and share a Mighty Meaty Pizza. I love the selection of bottled beer here. We have also gotten pizza's to go and they are just as yummy. The dining room inside is nice as well.

They just don't do it for me... This pizza is not bad its just how does one not love a pizza when they get it? Im no huge fan of Dominos and I feel they are neck and neck with mushroom being pricey, but if you want to dine in then that would be their lead ANy day I would rather Rays,Papa Johns or Pizza Hut! The difference? Most of it within the crust and then its just very eh to me...

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

SO GOOD.
(3)Sarah M.
Thumbs down! First time trying Mellow Mushroom, and wound up with two medium pizzas that taste like sponge, covered in cheese! $35 for tasteless, super doughy pizza?! I'd stick with Gallo's...at least there's flavor in their pies!
(1)Juan M.
They always do fine, but we were just there for a quick drink. They had GF beer (which just caused me to bump them up to 4 stars).
(4)Kristina H.
Overrated, expensive, and extremely slow! We didn't even finish half the pizza or two of the pretzels between four of us. Not impressed!
(1)Lindy F.
(4)Greg V.

UGH!!
(1)A + P.
(5)king d.
i have been going to this location for well over 20 years. the original store was just right up the street from the new local which is the bomb. the place looks great, feels great and the pizza most of all is yes, GREAT!!!! i live in Cali but hit it about once or twice a year and always start jonesin when i think about some badass meatball pies, jeez i'm hungry now. drop everything, run don't walk to get this always delicious pizza!!!!!
(5)Jamie P.
(3)Jackie H.
(4)Anitra H.
(3)Jason B.

(4)Marc B.
(1)Zoe B.
Oops, my husband got Mellow Mushroom and then food poisoning... now we're weary of this place
(3)Ken K.
(3)Lamar M.
Great pizza we ate outside server was nice and the weather is perfect priceless night with the family way better them pizza nights when I was a kid
(4)Deirdre N.
(4)john p.
Ok, so my fav pizza joint has gone a bit corporate but this location, the Mothership , still has THE Best crust of any location. One undercooked pie in 40+ visits , always cold beer and good service.
(5)Rob C.
Went here yesterday to watch the World Cup game. Great good and service. Only thing that could be better would be if they upgraded the tvs. This place would be instant 5 star if they had some big screens.
(4)Jang C.
(4)Shawn A.
Super fresh ingredients! Fantastic and unique recipes and great crust. Yep! I said it...I'm a girl from the Mecca of pizza (Chicago) and mellow mushroom is good pizza! The house special or the Thai dye was our faves!
(4)Stacie C.
Worst experience ever. Food was marginal. Host staff clueless. Management uncaring and unhelpful. Server was friendly. Too bad she works here! We cannot recommend and we have not been back. This happened a year ago.
(1)Keesha M.
Great staff, very friendly & personable. Pizza is really good. Totally enjoyed it, I will definitely be back again!
(4)Art V.
Lame food and not so good service. Go to Hearth or Ippolitos south or north on Roswell road. But are vastly better and not run or prepared by high school kids.
(1)Chris P.
Delicious pizzas!! Awesome service every time I go. One of my favorite places to go during my lunch break!
(4)Chriss F.
This Mellow Mushroom location is a little hard to get into since the traffic on Roswell Road / Sandy Springs is heavy most of the time. Anyway, the Gourmet White pizza that I ordered was delicious. I added pepperoni to it as well to give it a kick. Service was good as usual.
(4)Greg R.
Mellow mushroom is consistently the best place to take kids. Great pizzas. And great salads.
(4)Jim K.
(5)Sam B.
(5)Suzanne C.
(4)Richard K.
(4)Vivian W.
(3)Alayne H.
(4)Desiree R.
(4)Alex H.
This is a good 'Shroom location, and a significant upgrade over the old Sandy Springs location.
(4)Nateia F.
(5)Kevin S.
(4)Kristina L.
(4)Jason D.
Came because of their nice outdoor patio, and cold Blue Moons. My wife's pizza was great and my hoagie was great, too. And their pretzels are really good, I have to say. Server was really attentive. And it's so close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's that you can make a nice night out of it.
(4)Stormy C.
The best pizza I have ever had! :)
(5)Brian S.
Service was a bit slow but the food was up to par for a Mellow Mushroom. The patio seating is nice although the fans they have running out there are nothing short of useless on a hot day. Check em out on your next pizza night and try the pretzels!
(3)David B.
(4)H L.
Yes it is a little loud but it has good friendly atmosphere. I got the Karma Pizza which was okay, but the food did not make a big impression on me. I may not return.
(3)Candis B.
(4)John G.

(2)Angela M.
(4)Carrie T.
Not only kick ass vegetarian options, but kick ass Vegan options too!
(5)Kay H.
